Juventus and Inter discussing Dybala-Icardi swap deal
The two Italian giants have made contact to discuss a potential swap deal of Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi. The two Argentinian internationals have been linked to other clubs throughout the transfer window and this week could be decisive to see where Dybala and Icardi will play next season.
Juventus and Inter have been in contact this week to discuss a potential swap deal of Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The two players have been linked with moves away from their current clubs throughout the transfer window period, and with the deadline coming on September 2, Juventus and Inter are trying to work a possible deal.
The exit of Mauro Icardi from Inter seems inevitable as the club's administration and their new boss Antonio Conte already expressed the desire to part ways with the 26-year-old striker. Many clubs emerged as possible destinations, mainly Napoli, AS Monaco and Juventus, but the player remains at the Giuseppe Meazza and if a transfer doesn't occur, Icardi can be sidelined until January or the end of the season.
As for Dybala, it was reported that not only Juventus tried to include the Argentinian in a potential deal with PSG to get Neymar, but also Tottenham and Manchester United were close to signing him.
The two clubs have less than a week to find a solution for both players and a swap deal could happen in the upcoming days.
