Rio Ferdinand has voiced his take regarding this subject, stating that Harry Kane should move elsewhere if he really wants to win silverware before he retires. Following an embarrassing defeat at home against Bayern Munich, opinions have surged on social media regarding the Tottenham star's future.

Tottenham are already 10 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table and things aren't looking bright in the Champions League as well. The North London side sit in 4th place in a relatively easy group after a draw and a defeat in their opening two games. Mauricio Pochettino's status as a manager is now being questioned and he could have a hard time keeping Tottenham's job if results don't get better in the next few weeks. One of the few players who have the skill to turn this crisis around is Harry Kane.

The striker, however, is not currently on the best run of form but has still managed to find the net in his last three games. This has seen voices from outside start to take shape, telling him to leave the club if he ever wants to win any silverware before he retires. The latest is Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand as he went on to say that he believes Kane needs to leave if he to ever win anything in his career. The Daily Mail further adds that Ferdinand went on to add that Kane has to ask Tottenham questions and question if his current side can ever win anything.

"What are you in the game for? Are you in the game to be a one club man or to win trophies? Do Spurs look like a team capable of winning trophies? Harry Kane is probably thinking about it and having those questions. They need answering soon. He's 26 and you only have a small window of opportunity, they come and go very quickly." told Rio Ferdinand after the game.

Ferdinand has been through something similar when he moved from Leeds, who went to a Champions League semi-final and nearly won the league that year, to Manchester United. It is up to Harry Kane to decide if he wants to remain at his childhood club or move to a club who could offer him a real shot at winning trophies.
