Ahead of Real Madrid's Champions League clash against Galatasaray boss Zinedine Zidane has said that he isn’t affected by the pressure despite the club's bad start. They've started their Champions League campaign on a poorly and have failed to win with a loss to PSG and a draw against Club Brugge.

Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane has come under substantial pressure after failing to deliver a single win in two Champions League games so far. Real Madrid travelled to Paris Saint Germain on matchday one and was humiliated 3-0 by the home side. Los Blancos also struggled at home against Belgian side Club Brugge and were, in fact, trailing by 2 goals at half time.

Somehow in the second half, the home side managed to score two goals and walk away with their first point of the group stage. Real’s league story is different as they are second and trail league leaders Barcelona by one point. The French manager has asserted that he isn’t fazed by any pressure and will continue to work for the club, as reported by Sky Sports.

“The past is in the past and football soon forgets about what you've achieved. That's the way things are in life. The important thing is the here and now. I'm upset about what's being said about me, but I can't stop people from having their opinions. I have to give my all as coach, with my players, and think positively. I've been at the club for 18 years. We know where we are and that pressure will never go away,” said Zidane to the Sky Sports.

"We're aware of the situation and will keep going until the end. Our first aim is to get the three points on Tuesday night. We know that it's an important game and one in which we have to put points on the board, given how things stand in the group. I'm just focusing on the game."

Zidane has challenged his players to draw upon the club's rich tradition as they attempt to turn around their European campaign in Turkey. Real Madrid have made this their habit as they struggle during the initial phases of the Champions League and turn up at the right moment and go on to the title. Zidane engineered Real’s three back to back Champions League titles and is in search for his fourth this season.

“Real Madrid always deliver in these kinds of games and that's what we want to see. We got our Champions League campaign off to a poor start and this is a game for us to show what we can do,” concluded Zidane.
