Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi believes that the club can finish amongst the Premier League’s top three at the end of this season. At the moment, the Foxes sit third in the league table after four games and are just one of three English teams still unbeaten leading up to the international break.

Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City narrowly missed out on a Europa League spot last season, after they finished their final ten games with three losses. That saw Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton finish marginally above them, with Wolves only five points ahead. But they’ve started the 2019/20 season brilliantly and are amongst only three sides in the top tier still unbeaten.

That plus the fact that the Foxes sit in third place going into the international break has seen star Wilfred Ndidi claim that they can finish amongst the top three sides. The Super Eagles midfielder played a key role last season and believes that his side have the players and the capability to oust the Premier League’s big six from their roles.

“Top six? I would say top three [is possible] but we have to get the points out of the games before we can place ourselves at the top.” Ndidi said on Sky Sports.

The Nigerian international, who went viral recently because of the fact that he is currently studying business and management plus playing professional football, went on to talk about that and why education is so important to him.

“Education is very important because growing up in Nigeria I wasn’t in school and then seeing other kids not been able to go to school because their parent could not afford it. It is just a personal thing for me that I want to expand myself and know a couple of things and understand,” the combative midfielder concluded.
