Tottenham will be offered a second chance to sign Juventus star Paulo Dybala in January, with the Old Lady still looking to sell the 25-year-old. The Argentine was linked with a move to Tottenham, PSG, and Manchester United, but nothing materialised despite a last ditch loan attempt by PSG.

Despite offering Christian Eriksen a very lucrative wage, the Danish international has reiterated his desire to leave England at the end of his current deal. A deal that does expire at the end of the current season, and one that has attracted the likes of Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid and even Inter Milan to consider a move for the Danish playmaker.

But for Tottenham, it does mean dipping their toe back into the transfer market to buy a replacement for their mercurial playmaker. Yet with the Daily Star reporting that Spurs will be offered a second chance to sign Paulo Dybala, Tottenham may not have to look too far. They were close to signing the Argentine this summer but the move collapsed at the 11 hour thanks to issues over his image rights.

However, Tottenham were not the only ones with that problem, as PSG’s late attempt to take him on loan on deadline day also collapsed. That might change in January, with the Daily Star reporting that Juventus are still looking to sell the Argentine for a cut-price offer of £65 million. The report further adds that the Serie A giants are looking to reduce their wage bill that ballooned after a summer of heavy spending, which does allow Tottenham to take advantage of the situation.
