Ravindra Jadeja has come out open to publicly criticise Sanjay Manjrekar’s 'bits and pieces' comments and stated that he has had enough of his 'verbal diarrhoea'. Jadeja went on to add that he has played 'twice the number of matches' Manjrekar played and he should learn to respect people.

Despite being a veteran commentator in Indian cricket broadcasting, former India cricketer Manjrekar has gained more haters than followers. His over analysis, which sometimes becomes borderline hatred for certain cricketers made him a controversial commentator and Ravindra Jadeja became the latest cricketer to criticise him.

In the last few days, Manjrekar, especially, has been overly critical of Jadeja and even though the all-rounder is yet to play a single match, he has never missed an opportunity to slam the cricketer.

“I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner.”

Jadeja got enough of it and decided to vent out his frustration on Twitter.

“Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea.@sanjaymanjrekar,” Jadeja wrote on Twitter.

As a matter of fact, Jadeja has 2035 ODI runs at an average of 29.93 while picking 174 wickets in 151 games. Sanjay Manjrekar, on the other hand, has played for India in 74 games and has 1994 runs to his name at an average of 33.23.
