Table-toppers Mumbai Indians will cross swords with Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1 while Delhi Capitals will faceoff Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator. The winner of the Qualifier 1 will advance to final, while losing team will get a 2nd life against the winner of Eliminator in Qualifier 2.

Mumbai Indians finished as table-toppers after beating Kolkata Knight Riders in the last game of the league stages and will now take on arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1. It was a knock-out game for KKR and the defeat meant SRH making the cut on the back of a relatively better Net Run-Rate (both have 12 points apiece).

The Qualifier 1 is scheduled to be played on Tuesday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai and the winner will advance to the final. For finishing in top two, the losing team will get a reprieve and will take on the winner of Eliminator in Qualifier 2, which is scheduled to be played Friday in Visakhapatnam.

DC and SRH will battle it out in the Eliminator to sculpt a spot in Qualifier 2; the virtual semi-final will be played on Wednesday in Visakhapatnam. The final game of the season will be played on Sunday between the winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2.

Barring SRH, all the three teams at the top finished with 18 points apiece but the Net Run-Rate played a key role in determining their position on the points table, with MI topped with a massive margin. All the matches are scheduled to begin at 7.30 pm IST.
