Arsenal manager Unai Emery has revealed that Arsenal hierarchy has expressed their support despite the struggling form of the team. Emery and the team will have a chance to put their disappointing run behind and return winning ways as they welcome German side Eintracht Frankfurt to the Emirates.

According to English media outlet Sky Sports, Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has said that Raul Sanllehi and the Arsenal board have kept faith in him during the club's time of struggle. Gunners are currently 8th in the Premier League and have failed to win any of their last five league games. The North London team was able to only win a point against 19th placed Southampton which saw the fans boo their team off the Emirates stadium.

“The club is supporting me. I feel the club is responsible in that area. I really appreciate that a lot. I feel strong with that support and I know my responsibility is to come back and change the situation. We need to recover the confidence, I need to achieve good balance, and we need to be more compact. We have very good players but now they are playing without confidence sometimes in the matches,” said Emery to the Sky Sports.

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo, alongside former Juventus boss Massimilano Allegri and Manchester City assistant coach Mikel Arteta, have been linked with the Arsenal job after impressing as the head coach of Wolves over the last 3 years. Mauricio Pochettino, who was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur during the International break, has also become a top target to replace Emery as well.

“I am feeling responsible for my work. I know we need to improve. When I lost, I am not feeling well. I am feeling that responsibility to come back, the responsibility to analyse, and to work and improve to achieve our performance. In my work, I enjoy it. Every day I enjoy it. The players and the preparation I enjoy because I love that work,” concluded the Spanish boss.
