Probably for the first time in cricket, there were thousands and thousands of spectators in the stadium for a warm-up match as MS Dhoni led an international team for the last time in his career for the India A vs England XI match. It was not just the stadium, even Twitter was filled with Dhoni.

India's most successful captain MS Dhoni resigned from captaincy in the limited overs format last week. Dhoni, however, captained the India A team for their match against England XI for, almost certainly, his last match as an International captain. The stadium was full and almost every die-hard Indian cricket fan was glued to the television sets. What struck the Twitterati though was not just Dhoni's last match as captain, but also the return of the golden Dhoni, as he scored 23 runs off the last over and ended the innings at 68 runs with 8 fours and 2 sixes, and amid all this, a fan running on to touch the feet of Dhoni.

Now it is the third time! Every match a landmark in Indian cricket!

The cheer says it all!

Nostalgic!

Warm-up match or a World Cup match?

Dhoni is an emotion!

Everyone has their own problems!

Every cricket lover in India right now!

This never gets old!

Even the ECB is excited!

It is not over, until he decides!

He creates another record!

(G)old Dhoni!

Just MSD things!

23 off the last over!

For the last time in International stage!
