Twitter reacts to Hardik Pandya's casual running that gifted SA an easy wicket
When India needed Hardik Pandya to stay and support the skipper Virat Kohli, he threw away his wicket by casually jogging towards the danger end. But this did not have any effect on Kohli as he continued to steady the ship by scoring a brilliant 100 and help India cut the lead down to 29.

Here are the funny tweets from the game:

But at least we got a record out of it. YAY!
This is the first time in history that the No. 3 and No. 7 batsmen of each side have been run out in their respective first innings of a Test.#Amla #Philander #Pujara #Pandya#SAvIND

But thankfully the captain kept the hope alive!
Quite simply, one of the best innings I have seen from Kohli.

Interesting to hear Kohli on the stump mike literally counting down the deficit. This has been a crucial partnership but India need it to keep going given the batting prowess to follow.

Kohli as captain in Tests:

Home: 7 100s in 32 inns
Away: 7 100s in 22 inns#SAvInd
And he is level with the great Don Bradman!
Most 150+ as Test Captain:

8 ~ Don Bradman
8 ~ Virat Kohli
But sadly India right now...
Kohli is playing like Tendulkar in the 1990s.
— Ramesh Srivats (@rameshsrivats) January 15, 2018
Unfortunately, the rest of the team is also playing like the rest of the team in the 1990s.
Saha: Do you miss me?
Even with his hamstring niggle Saha would have caught that. #SAvIND
