Twitter reacts to technology failing to spot wrong run-short to prevent KXIP's dramatic victory
Before the 2020 edition of IPL, technology was dramatically improved to even declare no-balls without the umpires spotting it. However, in this circumstance, despite the availability of technology, a double was overruled as a single for Kings XI Punjab as the match ended level after 40 overs.
Here is how twitter reacted on it:
Use the technology available. Poor #DCvKXIP pic.twitter.com/BZbRaA571d

It is not always possible for umpires to have eagle eyes. Commentators were able to point out because they were given slow-mo after 3 balls. If umpires start checking every single ball then it is just going to delay the match. But still it was a mistake

Such a poor technology..
Man they check for no ball and runouts and stumping. This is very difficult to catch from that far for any umpire. They have to be absolutely sure before they give a run short.

What rules are these??
Umpires at square leg don’t even stay in line anymore

Won't see this in GULLY cricket too!
Got to at least stand level with the crease.
