Delhi Capitals beat Gujarat Titans by six wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The hosts faced a batting collapse as they managed to score just 89 runs in 20 overs whereas the Capitals batted well despite losing four wickets as they reached the target of 90 runs with 67 balls to spare.

The hosts faced a rough start when they lost the toss and were put into bat by Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant. Gujarat's opener, Shubman Gill couldn't get going and was out in just the second over. The troubles continued as Wriddhiman Saha, Sai Sudharsan, and David Miller departed during the powerplay, leaving Gujarat struggling at 30/4. Despite efforts to stabilize, the visitors' bowling attack kept the pressure on, resulting in quick dismissals of Abhinav Manohar, Shahrukh Khan, and Rahul Tewatia leaving Gujarat reeling at 68/7 by the 12th over. With Mohit Sharma's exit in the 15th over, hopes rested on Rashid Khan to salvage the situation. By the 15th over mark, the score stood at 78/8 with Rashid holding the fort at 22 off 17 balls. However, once Rashid departed, Gujarat's batting collapsed as they managed only 89 runs in 17.3 overs.

The visitors burst out of the gates with Jake Fraser-McGurk and Prithvi Shaw hammering 14 runs in the first over. As the Aussie was looking good with a strike rate of 200, Aussie prodigy Spencer Johnson scalped his wicket in the second over. Shortly after, Shaw made his exit after scoring just seven runs off six balls. Despite losing Abishek Porel and Shai Hope in the powerplay, leaving the score at 67/4, the Capitals maintained their composure, undeterred by the modest target. Meanwhile, Sumit Kumar and Pant finished things off for the Capitals as they won the contest by six wickets in 8.3 overs, climbing to the sixth position in the points table.
