Nevertheless, Virat Kohli and Axar Patel formed a resilient partnership steering the score to 75/3 in 10 overs. Amusingly, after striking the stumps the ball continued its journey to the boundary ropes. De Kock began his celebration immediately and with the third umpire's intervention confirming the dismissal.
