Manchester City continued their rampant run in the Premier League after registering a 4-0 victory over Swansea City to set a new League record of 15 consecutive wins. Elsewhere Romelu Lukaku answered the critics in a style by helping Manchester United secure a 1-0 win against AFC Bournemouth.

Swansea City 0 - 4 Manchester City

David Silva's double and one goal each from Kevin de Bruyne and Sergio Aguero ensured that City maintained their 11-point lead over Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table while Swansea remains at the bottom position. Silva opened the goal tally for the City side after 27 minutes of the game with a smart finish before de Bruyne continued his remarkable season by scoring with a free-kick. The visitors entered the second half with a 2-0 lead but soon, Silva grabbed his second chance with another fine finish. Sergio Aguero also joined the party as he completed another memorable night for Guardiola's team with a wonderful finish into the bottom corner.

Manchester United 1 - 0 AFC Bournemouth

United successfully bounced back from their last match loss to derby-rivals Manchester City with a victory over AFC Bournemouth but the win was not enough to reach near table’s leaders City as they maintain the 11-point advantage by beating Swansea. Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku scored the first goal in the first half after a 25-minute game, heading into the top corner from Juan Mata's cross towards the six-yard box and that eventually turned out to be the winner.

Tottenham Hotspur 2 - 0 Brighton & Hove Albion

Goals from Serge Aurier and the in-form Son Heung-min helped Tottenham Hotspur register a victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Wembley. From the start of the game, Spurs dominated both territory and possession but they were frustrated by the visitors until Aurier's cross from the right touchline fortuitously looped over Matt Ryan to go into the far top corner of the net that presented the Ivory Coast full-back his first goal for the club. The Brighton failed to score a goal during the second half either and their challenge was ended when Son scored for the fourth game running via a stooping header from Christian Eriksen's free-kick. The win helped Tottenham moved back into the Premier League top four.
