PL Roundup| Spurs' title hopes take a blow while Man City thrash Crystal Palace 5-0
Tottenham Hotspurs were stunned by West Ham United when they defeated the away side 1-0 to all but deny them the chance of winning the title. Meanwhile, Manchester City routed Crystal Palace at Etihad Stadium and won 3 points to keep their hopes of finishing in the top four alive.
West Ham dent Spurs’ title bid
The Spurs side who was eyeing their first title since 1961 suffered a body blow, despite dominating the majority of the game when Manuel Lanzini fired home in the 65th minute. Spurs attacked with Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Son Heung-Min but all three were denied by the brilliant Hammers keeper Adrian. A win for Spurs could have reduced Chelsea's lead to a single point, but now the Blues army requires just 6 points from 4 games to be crowned the champions of England in Antonio Conte’s first season at the helm.
