Reports | Maurizio Sarri driving a Juventus move for Tottenham star Danny Rose
Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri is driving a move for Tottenham star Danny Rose as the Serie A giants look to further reinforce their side. The Spurs left-back does have two years left on his current deal but has been allowed to leave the club this summer, with PSG and Schalke also in the race.
Tottenham star Danny Rose has been allowed to leave the club this summer with the 29-year-old looking for a new challenge. That combined with the fact that Mauricio Pochettino is actively looking for replacements and has left Rose behind in England to look for a move has seen the rumour mill churn out quite a few rumours.
Both PSG and Schalke 04 are leading the race for the former Leeds United left-back but it seems that a new contender has entered the race. The Daily Mail has reported that Juventus are considering a move for the 29-year-old, with the Old Lady looking to please Sarri.
The report further adds that the former Chelsea boss is driving the move for the English international as he looks for a new left-back. Juventus may have Alex Sandro and have recently signed Luca Pellegrini from AS Roma but with the latter potentially leaving the club on loan, it does free up space for a new man.
Sarri’s personal intervention does mean that the Serie A giants should take a lead for Rose, despite PSG already making their interest clear. Tottenham, on the other hand, have already started courting Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon and his twin brother as potential replacements.
