N’Golo Kante is already one of the names on Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane’s wishlist with the Real Madrid boss targeting a 2020 summer move. The Blues' midfielder has been a sensational addition for Chelsea, flourishing at the club since his move from Leicester City becoming a key star.

After losing Thibaut Courtois in the summer of 2018 and Eden Hazard a year later, Chelsea’s next big challenge will be to keep N’Golo Kante. The Frenchman has been an integral part of the side since his arrival from Leicester City in 2016, winning a Premier League title and a Europa League crown. His performances have also earned him recognition as one of the best midfielders on the planet, with a FIFA World Cup trophy to match.

However, that kind of form and consistency brings with it attention from Europe’s bigwigs, with the Athletic reporting, that Real Madrid are seriously eyeing a move for Kante. The report further added that while a January move is out of the question, Zinedine Zidane and company are eyeing a summer 2020 move for the Frenchman, alongside potential moves for Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba.

This is not the first time that Zidane and Real Madrid have come after Kante, with the Los Blancos linked with a move in 2016 before he joined Chelsea. However, with reports indicating that Real Madrid are still concerned about how their season will go, despite their summer spend, Zidane believes that Kante’s addition will help the team flourish once again.
