Ajinkya Rahane is going to captain India in the last three Tests but he is already the captain in mind or else, no one dares in Indian cricket to get Kohli run-out after a poor call. Unlike Rohit Sharma, who has specialty of making it count after running out Kohli, Rahane didn't do well.

India were still mighty at 188 for 3, with Virat Kohli is in his element, looking elAjinkya Rahane is also showing his class. It looks like they are going to stitch together a big partnership. The match is tilting in India's favour. Especially Kohli is looking set for his first hundred this year. He's batting with patience, calmness, applying himself perfectly. But then comes a moment, which has left Indian supporters red-faced as the vice-captain brings about the downfall of Kohli.

It's an Et tu, Brute moment as Kohli's own man, gets him out, something which even the likes of Starc, Cummins, Lyon and Hazlewood couldn't. With just a few overs to go for the second new ball, which is set to be the most testing time under lights, Rahane hits the ball straight to the mid-off fielder Hazlewood. He calls Kohli for a single, who goes for a full sprint without even looking back like a non-striker should. But then Rahane, out of nowhere, sends back Kohli, and the Indian skipper has no option but to sacrifice his wicket at 74.

Rahane very well knowing his mistake apologizes for his mistake. Virat Kohli doesn't utter a word. He walks back to pavilion. Indian fans are left angry but could do nothing about it as chances of India making 300 diminishes within seconds. Kohli throws his gloves in frustration near the boundary ropes.
