Kings XI Punjab hold a slender 10-8 advantage in the 18 matches between these two sides in the IPL so far. Even though the Kings hold a lead over the nine seasons of the IPL, the Royal Challengers have had the upper hand in recent times, winning 3 of their last 4 games against their opponents. The match is at nobody’s home ground, really, so home advantage, if it exists, will not count for much in this game.

In this season of the IPL, RCB recovered from their opening day defeat to SRH by successfully defending a mediocre total thanks to the efforts of their bowlers, while KXIP beat Pune with relative ease in their opener. The fans, however, believe that it will be Bangalore's day, despite the absence of their captain Virat Kohli.

Fan verdict : Royal Challengers Bangalore to win - 57%

Will Tymal Mills take at least 2 wickets?

Digest this. Tymal Mills is the most expensive specialist foreign bowler in the IPL even if his numbers don’t reflect that yet. In his last 10 T20 matches, the Englishman has taken more than 1 wicket only twice, though, in IPL 2017, which is his debut season, he has been quite handy, posting decent figures of 1/33 and 1/31 in his allotted quota of 4 overs. However, having paid Rs. 12 crores for him, RCB will be hoping for much more from him as their bowling spearhead.

At the same venue, where KXIP played their opener against RPS, the latter’s pacers picked up a solitary wicket. Tymal Mills, the IPL rookie, will be under pressure to go one better than that, as that would go some way in justifying his eye-watering price tag.

The fans, however, don't think he is upto the challenge.

Fan verdict : Tymal Mills to not take at least 2 wickets - 54%

Will Kedar Jadhav score a 50?

Kedar Jadhav has taken his time to come to the fore. The sharp of memory among you will remember that he made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2014 at the "tender" age of 29. After being in an out of the Indian team, he finally emerged from the shadows this year.

In 8 ODI matches he played this season, he has scored 322 runs at an average of 64, hitting 1 century in the process and boasts of a cool strike rate of 130. He has also carried that tremendous form to the IPL – only a freak runout from Ben Cutting stopped him from scoring big in RCB’s opening match against SRH. Against DD, however, he hit a match-winning knock of 69 to take RCB to a defendable total, and his average to a very respectable 50. The question is, can he repeat his heroics?

The fans don't think so.

Fan verdict : Kedar Jadhav to not score a 50 - 73%.
