India men and women team's to face off New Zealand in January 2019
The Indian cricket team, led by Virat Kohli, will travel to New Zealand in January next year where they will go up against Kane Williamson & Co. in a five-match ODI series followed by a three-match T20I series. The women’s team will square off in three ODIs and three T20Is during the same period.

After that Virat Kohli & Co. will tour Australia in November where they will play three T20Is, four Tests, and three ODIs. However, New Zealand Cricket Association has now revealed that India will begin their 2019 season with a tour of New Zealand.
Ravi Shastri’s squad will begin their preparation for next year’s 2019 ICC ODI World Cup with five one-dayers and three Twenty20 games against Kane Williamson & Co. The NZCA also announced that the Indian women’s team will also fly to New Zealand for where they will take on the Kiwis n three ODIs and as many T20Is. It was also revealed that the three T20Is - played in Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton - will be double-headers.
The NZCA further added that the 'A' teams of the two countries will also square off against each other during the coming summer. The two sides were to play three four-dayers at Mt Maunganui, Seddon Park and Cobham Oval which will be followed by three ODI games all of which will be played at Bay Oval.
"The India A side's visit to New Zealand corresponds with NZC's increased investment in the A programme, as announced in the new NZC-NZCPA Master Agreement, last week," New Zealand Cricket stated in a release.
NZC CEO, Anthony Crummy, hyped up the series which he labeled as ‘exciting’. The CEO also stated that apart from the second T20I on February 8 at Eden Park, all the other matches between India and New Zealand will start an hour later. This came in accordance with NZC's agreement with Indian

It's exciting to have the India men's and women's team here. The men are currently ranked No. 2 in ODIs and T20s - and the women arrive as ICC Cricket World Cup finalists.
"It's also healthy to be driving greater exposure and appeal in the women's game. All six of the WHITE FERNS' fixtures will be televised live for the first time in New Zealand history," said NZC CEO - Anthony Crummy.
