Even the smallest of Steve Smith's activities after his comeback has been widely talked about and his fancy leaves have been the most popular one. If you want to get an idea of how big its cult status has become ever since that Lord's stunt, Windies batsmen tried that against India in Antigua Test.

After releasing the monkey off the back in the first Test with twin centuries, Steve Smith entertained the audience with his new fancy leaves that was inspired by Courtney Walsh’s leaves. Windies batsmen took it a step further as a montage released by the host broadcasters showed that Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell effortlessly pulled off those leaves against India.

With Ishant Sharma landing the ball wide outside the off-stump and Jasprit Bumrah trying to reap benefits with the new ball, the opening duo tried to replicate the Steve Smith model of taking the bat out of the way like a sword and kept it safe before making another attempt to fend away the next delivery.

Although Sony marketed the analysis montage as a tribute to Courtney Walsh leaves, deep down we all know, from where these leaves have been inspired by. After Jofra Archer mimicked the leaves in the nets, the leaves might well achieve the cult status, and in the coming times, we might see many cricketers pulling off the funny moves while batting.AAAAAAA
