With every outing, Jos Buttler is proving that he is quickly becoming an ODI superstar but his glovework hasn’t lived up to the reputation recently. However, in Nottingham, he put every discussion to rest with a stellar piece of keeping in which his game awareness dislodge the bails in a flash.

Ahead of the match, there was a little concern about Jos Buttler's keeping as he was nowhere close to his best at The Oval against South Africa and reportedly, he was working hard with the fielding coach in the nets. And, come the match, he showed what he has got and put up a brilliant piece of keeping to dismiss Fakhar Zaman.

On the first ball of the 15th over, Moeen Ali turned the ball into Fakhar Zaman and the off break resulted in Zaman being forced out of the crease momentarily. The pace helped the ball drift into the left-hander and the tight line ensured that it was quickly in Buttler's hands.

Buttler was alert enough to collect the ball and by seeing Zaman’s back foot out of the crease, he instantly whipped off the bails. He was confident of the dismissal, but the leg-umpire, for confirmation, decided to go upstairs. It was very hazy in the reply but the front-on angle suggested that Zaman was actually not inside the crease. Then it became a percentage option for the third umpire to give his verdict and the Pakistan opener had to return back to the crease.
