Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has prepared a shortlist of players that he wants to target in the upcoming January transfer window after being given the green light to spend £150 million. The list includes the likes of Jadon Sancho, Leon Bailey, Timo Werner, Wilfried Zaha and many others.

According to the latest report from Daily Mail, Chelsea manager has set his sights on targeting a number of players in the winter transfer window. The Blues breathed a sigh of relief when they discovered that their FIFA transfer ban had been reduced to one transfer window by Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS). With the ban served already in summer, the London based club will have the liberty to buy new players in January in order to strengthen the squad.

Lampard is set to be given £150 million to splash in the winter transfer window and the Englishman is said to be monitoring a number of players. RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner and Olympique Lyon striker Moussa Dembele have been added to Lampard’s shortlist. The list already includes some high profile players like Jadon Sancho, Wilfried Zaha, Ousmane Dembele and Leon Bailey. The Blues are also evaluating options at the back and are keen on Bournemouth’s Nathan Ake.

Lampard had earlier admitted that Eden Hazard’s goals and creativity need to be replaced in January and he is willing to spend some big bucks. Olivier Giroud is on his way out of Stamford Bridge after limited playing opportunities and the club will like to buy another backup to Tammy Abraham. The Blues are fourth in the Premier League but have lost four of their last five games ahead of Sunday’s trip to fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
