Sweden rose to the top of Group A in the World Cup Qualifying with a stunning last-minute win against France. Tottenham first choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris faltered in added time when he kicked the ball in the path of Swedish striker Ola Toivonen who welcomed the opportunities with open arms and fired home to clinch a win after Oliver Giroud had given the French an early first half lead.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronald's brace helped Portugal thrash Latvia 3-0 on away turf and Netherlands romped Luxembourg 5-0 to complete an emphatic win.

Here are the results from all the matches:

Belarus 2-1 Bulgaria

Holland 5-0 Luxembourg

Sweden 2-1 France

Andorra 1-0 Hungary

Faroe Islands 0-2 Switzerland

Latvia 0-3 Portugal

Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-0 Greece

Estonia 0-2 Belgium

Gibraltar 1-2 Cyprus

Meanwhile, the English Premier League clubs released a list of all the retained players on Friday. Chelsea is all set to bid adieu to their defender John Terry who will be available for the summer transfer.

On the other hand, Manchester United has chosen to relieve Zlatan Ibhramiovic of his duties after his one-year stint with the club. Ibrahimovic's spectacular season with the Red Devils did not earn him an extension deal as the 35-year old's future at Old Trafford was unclear after his season-ending knee ligament injury.

The start striker made 46 appearances for Manchester United and scored 28 goals which helped the Reds win the Community Shield, the League Cup and the Europa League trophies.

The other big names that have been released include Manchester City's goalkeeper Willy Caballero, winger Jesus Navas and full-backs Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna.

Burnley released midfielder Joey Barton while Arsenal lets go off Yaya Sanogo who scored just one for the Gunners in their game against Borussia Dortmund in November 2014. Everton released striker Arouna Kone.
