Chennai had a pathetic day with the bat as they were reduced to 24/5 at the end of the powerplay, but the collapse did not stop there as they lost 3 wickets in the middle overs as well. Sam Curran was the only batsmen who applied himself on the crease, scoring the highest runs for the team.
