The transfer window ticking down is not a pretty thing, especially if you’re part of a club that hasn’t made the right additions so far. That adds to the spectacle and while Arsenal may have finally made their big moves, the rest of the world still has a lot of work left to do and not a lot of time

Juventus reject Tottenham’s minuscule bid for Paulo Dybala

Watching Tottenham make a bid for Paulo Dybala will certainly, have every other top-six side watching with intent. The Argentine is a magician with the ball and under Pochettino, there is little doubt that he would succeed. Then reports emerged that Tottenham have submitted a £45 million bid and the other top-six sides breath a sigh of relief.

Multiple reports have revealed that Spurs tabled the bid, and Juventus simultaneous rejected the move. The Old Lady have set a minimum £70 million fee on the Argentine’s head, and shouldn’t consider anything else.

LOSC Lille accept four bids from four separate sides for Nicolas Pepe

LOSC Lille have already revealed that they will let Nicolas Pepe go, if and only if his £70 odd million valuation is met. And it looks like that might have been done. Not by one side but four potential clubs reveals reports from France. Arsenal, Liverpool, Napoli, and one un-named side have all had bids accepted and things will certainly get interesting now.

Especially as it seems that Lille wants to add a little drama to this transfer window. That alone rules out Arsenal and yet the L’Equipe has added that both the Gunners are one of the leading contenders.

Atletico Madrid back-in for James Rodriguez

Atletico Madrid simply cannot seem to make up their mind. Napoli once led the race for James Rodriguez before the Los Rojiblancos took the lead. But since then the rumours of a move have died down, only to rise like a phoenix from the ashes. They’ve re-entered the race for the midfielder with Atleti managing director Gil Marin talking about the club’s interest to ESPN.

“I know that many would like it (to sign James Rodriguez). It would be very nice. The arrival of James depends very much on Florentino Perez.” Since selling Rodriguez would lead to a domino effect that sees Pogba or Neymar join the side, why hasn’t Florentino Perez let the Colombian go yet?

Borussia Dortmund in talks over a move for Malcom

Despite adding Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt for the price of Christian Pulisic, Dortmund still believes they need more wide-attackers. And given their penchant for reviving former Barcelona players, a move for Malcom makes a lot of sense. The Signal Iduna side are the latest side to ask about a potential move, with the Mirror reporting that Barcelona have received a £37.5 million offer for the Brazilian.

That falls well within the acceptable range for the La Liga giants, and given Malcom’s lack of game-time last season, this just might be the move to re-ignite his career.

Everton prepared to pay £60 million plus a player swap for Wilfried Zaha

This is it, a sky is falling offer. The Telegraph has reported that Everton wants Wilfried Zaha and are more than willing to dish out the £80 million that Crystal Palace wants. The fee would include £60 million in cold hard cash and Cenk Tosun, which isn’t a bad deal. Atleast it’s better than £40 million and a few parts from the garage offered by Arsenal.

The report further adds that Chelsea are also in the race, but the transfer ban does change things for both sides. This is Everton’s race to win and if it’s one they can afford, not finishing in at least a top-six place would be an utter disgrace.
