Reports | PSG create three man shortlist to replace Neymar
Barcelona are confident of landing their former Brazilian superstar Neymar, and as a result, PSG are looking at replacements to make sure that Neymarâs position at the club does not remain vacant. The Ligue 1 champions are interested looking at Mauro Icardi, Paulo Dybala and Christian Eriksen.

Reports from Le Parisien claim that PSG have devised a three-man shortlist as they look to replace Neymar. The moment the 27-year-old leaves for Barcelona, the Parisians will make a move for Juventusâs Argentinian ace midfielder Paulo Dybala, Tottenhamâs Christian Eriksen or Inter Milanâs Mauro Icardi.Â
Tottenham are in doubt over the future of their Danish playmaker, Christian Eriksen, who is into the final year of his contract and has shown a reluctance to renew his contract. If Spurs donât sell him this year, theyâll have to see him depart as a free agent next summer.
PSG are considering him â along with Juventusâ Paulo Dybala and Inter Milanâs Mauro Icardi â as a suitable player in whom to reinvest the funds which they will be acquiring from Neymarâs sale to Barcelona. Inter Milanâs out of favour striker Mauro Icardi is being looked at, as a possible replacement for Edinson Cavani, who is struggling with injury problems and is expected to leave Parc des Princes at the end of the season.   Â
However, the entire possibility of all these transfers depend on Neymarâs return to the Camp Nou. If that move falls through, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the transfers play out, especially considering Eriksenâs and Icardiâs situations at their respective clubs.Â
