South Africa hasn’t been enjoying the favour of luck for a long time, and it isn’t just limited to the match results. The toss has been one major factor that has been denying any grace to captain Faf du Plessis, who in turn brought in Temba Bavuma at the toss to turn things around, but in vain.

After losing nine tosses in a row, South Africa captain Faf du Plessis had hinted, ahead of the third test, that he might bring in someone else to take up the Toss duties hoping to change their luck around.

Recently, Australia Women’s captain Meg Lanning had brought in Alyssa Healy as her toss substitute, stating that she hasn’t had a good series of luck at the toss and maybe bringing in a proxy would help the team.

Even Du Plessis decided to walk down the same road and called in Temba Bavuma to carry out the Toss duties at Ranchi. Bavuma made the call for the tail but it was "heads". Meanwhile, India captain Virat Kohli, who won the toss, burst into laughter at the scene and a hopeful Faf only got his heart broken one more time. Kohli chose to bat as a no-brainer.

Murali Kartik is a funny man!😂😂

Virat couldn't stop laughing!

The bad luck continues...

This is just hilarious!

Hahahaha..
