Bayern consider Dembele move as Coman replacement

Bayern Munich are considering signing Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona in the summer as they plan for a potential Kingsley Coman departure according to L'Equipe. The German champions are engaged in contract talks with the French winger whose deal expires in 2023 and will hope to see a successful end to negotiations.

Bayern wants to be proactive and receive a transfer fee for Coman in the summer if negotiations fail rather than allowing him to walk on a free. The German champions see Dembele as a suitable replacement who will be available on a free transfer if he doesn't extend his stay at the Camp Nou.


Everton make offer for Sean Longstaff

According to reliable journalist Craig Hope, Everton have made an offer for Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff as they aim to reinforce their midfields. Newcastle had made it clear earlier this week that there would be no outgoings but a tempting offer could make them reconsider.

Everton manager Rafa Benitez is a huge fan of the midfielder and will try to take advantage of the fact that the Magpies are interested in Lucas Digne. Paris Saint-Germain are keen on bolstering their midfield options and are considering recruiting Lucas Paqueta from Lyon in the summer according to L'Equipe. The 24-year-old has been in fine form for the French club this season as he has scored nine goals in 17 matches in Ligue 1 this season.

It is understood that Lyon will demand a high transfer fee to let him depart the Groupama Stadium for the Parc des Princes. PSG are keen on adding an attacking midfielder to their ranks and are impressed by the Brazilian's impressive performances in the Ligue 1. The French giants will evaluate all their options and make an offer in the summer for the Brazilian international.

Southampton are understood to be keen on resigning Gareth Bale for his second spell at the club and are working on the details to make the deal work according to El Nacional. According to El Nacional, Barcelona are overly keen on signing Julian Draxler in this transfer window but Paris Saint-Germain have upped their transfer fee and are asking for at least €15 million for any of the German's suitors.

The attacker has had an up and down time since signing for the French giants and they are willing to let him go as long as their asking price is met. However, reports have indicated that Barcelona are looking to offload a few more players and high earners before they can make any move.

According to reliable journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are preparing an offer for Porto midfielder Sergio Oliveira as Jose Mourinho is understood to be a keen admirer of the Portuguese midfielder. Mourinho was keen on recruiting the 29-year-old during his reign at Spurs but the deal didn't materialize.

Spurs have cooled their interest in the Porto star after Antonio Conte took charge of the club giving Roma a clear run to recruit the Portuguese international in the January transfer window. It is understood that a fee of £17 million will be enough to persuade the Portuguese giants to let go of Oliveira.


Roma ready Umtiti loan offer

Roma are planning to recruit several new faces in January with defense being considered a priority by Jose Mourinho according to El Nacional. The Italian club will look to recruit Samuel Umtiti on loan from Barcelona as the French defender is surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona are desperate to offload the World Cup winner due to his high wages and his increased susceptibility to recurring injuries. It is understood that Umtiti is unwilling to head through the exits at the Catalan club as he believes he can establish himself in Xavi Hernandez's plans.


Ed Woodward to leave Manchester United in April

Manchester United have confirmed that Ed Woodward will leave his role as executive vice-chairman on February 1, with Richard Arnold taking the step up to be the new chief executive officer at the club. Woodward has spent 9 years tumultuous years at the club with fans being disgruntled with United's lack of success on the pitch and financial management.

It is understood that Woodward will stay on and continue to attend football board meetings until the end of the season but will play no part in the day-to-day management of the club. The Englishman will leave the club in its entirety in April.


Danny Rose told he can leave Watford this month

Despite signing for Watford only in the summer of 2021, Sky Sports has reported that Danny Rose has been told he is free to leave Vicarage Road this month. The full-back has made just nine appearances for the Hornets since arriving but has played sporadically since Claudio Ranieri arrived at the club.

The 31-year-old signed a two-year deal when he arrived but Sky Sports has reported that the Premier League side have made him available for transfer and won't use the left-back for the remainder of the month. Watford, meanwhile, have been looking to sign Udinese's Samir and Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida to reinforce their team.


Watford eyeing move for Liverpool's Nathaniel Phillips

While Nathaniel Phillips impressed during Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk's absence last season, the 24-year-old has struggled to get minutes this term with just four appearances and Football Insider has reported that the defender could leave for Watford.

The Hornets are looking for defensive reinforcements and with Philips expected to leave Anfield this month, the report has indicated that a £12 million fee could be enough for the Vicarage Road side to get their man. Furthermore, Claudio Ranieri's side are also looking at Domagoj Vida and Udinese's Samir as well.


MK Dons' Matt O'Riley attracting interest from all across Europe

According to ESPN, Matt O'Riley's form this season has seen him scouted by clubs from across Europe with the likes of Rangers, PSV Eindhoven, Porto, FC Koln and a few other teams all keen on signing the 21-year-old. The midfielder arrived on a free-transfer last January and has since thrived for the club, with him contributing to 11 goals this season.

However, while O'Riley does have interest from abroad, ESPN has reported that Swansea City are leading the race although Championship outfits Barnsley, Middlesbrough and Bournemouth are monitoring his progress as well. The report has further indicated that MK Dons are asking for a £2 million fee, with clubs more than open to the fee.


Newcastle to consider Origi signing

Newcastle are continuing to evaluate several options in the January transfer window as they wish to make several additions to reinforce their squad according to The Telegraph. The Magpies are considering making an offer for Divock Origi as they aim to engage in talks with Liverpool over a possible deal.

The Belgian forward has struggled to establish himself in the starting lineup for the Reds in recent seasons and could be interested in the move as he would feature more.

Barcelona look to sign Anthony Martial after missing out on Morata

Manchester United are not looking to sign River Plate starlet Julian Alvarez

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that despite being heavily linked with a move for Julian Alvarez, Manchester United are not planning on signing the River Plate forward in this transfer window. 

The 21-year-old has caught the eye this season with him thriving for the Argentine side and while his €17 million release clause is within reach for the Red Devils, the club's interim manager Ralf Rangnick is just looking into the possibility of a move.


Tottenham ready to rekindle their interest in Adama Traore

According to the Athletic, Tottenham are overly keen on getting a deal done for Adama Traore with them set to rekindle their interest in the Spaniard. The North Londoners were looking into a move for the Wolverhampton Wanderers forward in the summer but Wolves rejected both bids from Tottenham.

However, the Athletic has reported that a part-exchange deal with Matt Doherty going the other way could be on the cards as Wolves are open to re-signing the wing-back this window. But Wolves are looking to let Traore leave as manager Bruno Lage is looking to add reinforcements and are looking at a way to gain funds.
