Twitter reacts as Joe Root dropped thrice on his way to fourth fifty in Ashes 2019
Joe Root has got some luck today! He was dropped thrice in this game before scoring his half-century. On 24 and 25, he was dropped twice while being dropped again on 30. All the chances were created by the Aussie pacers but as the luck would have it, he scored his fourth fifty of this Ashes.
Best fielder award goes to..!!
50 for Joe Root but the score doesn't show the whole story. Dropped three times by Austraila. All 3 should have been taken.

England 148/3#TheAshes #ENGvAUS
Hahaha!! Ridiculous!
Joe Root's bat has the word 'village' on the back. Is that why he's been dropped three times? #bbccricket #ENGAUS

Good as in , with good lives!!
Warnie said earlier “Joe Root’s looked good here today”. He was on 32 and had been dropped 3 times. How much ale is he drinking on air I wonder.

Can you talk about something else!!
With two dropped chances of #JoeRoot and a long batting line up, it will be disappointing if #England doesn't score 500+#ashes #Ashes19 #Ashes2019 #cricket

First time that's happened to a Test captain since 1921.
I just made that up (but there will be a stat).
