Time waits for nobody, and with less than five days left for the Premier League’s transfer window to slam shut, the drama has hit the stratosphere. The other four are still enjoying a good tan under the sun, but with less than a month, it’s time to start panicking and dig into a few juicy sagas.

Bayern Munich and Leroy Sane reach an agreement

Sannnnnnnnnneeeee!! That’s Pep Guardiola after he reads Sky Sports’ report that the German forward and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement regarding his contract. If a move does occur this summer, Sane is set to earn a whopping £18 million a year and the only thing that would comprise that, (barring Bayern’s reluctance to spend north of a £100 million) is Manchester City offering him close to that amount.

Real Madrid join the race for Bruno Fernandes

They may have got a deal done for Donny Van de Beek, but Real Madrid wants everyone in the world to play for them. That is compounded by the fact that they’ve now stuck their nose in the race for Bruno Fernandes according to AS, further complicating Tottenham and Manchester United’s approach for the Portuguese midfielder.

It doesn’t make things easier but the choice for Fernandes just became that much harder. Play alongside Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba or Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko or World Cup-winning Toni Kroos and Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modric. A tough choice indeed.

Arsenal want Philippe Coutinho

A ludicrous deal for Nicolas Pepe and they got it done. That’s over and above a move for William Saliba, Dani Ceballos and a potential move for Kieran Tierney. Yet Arsenal ain’t happy and are now after Philippe Coutinho, (a loan move mind you) reports the Mirror The Brazilian moved across from Anfield for a world record sum and is set to return back to England with his tail between his legs.

That’s some fall from grace…

Olympique Lyon and AS Monaco push for Suso

AC Milan have finally had a decent transfer window but now the club has decided to let go of the one man who carried them through on his shoulders at times. Italian news outlet Calciomercato has reported Suso’s future hangs in the balance as he doesn’t fit in with Marco Giampaolo’s plans. The reports further adds that Olympique Lyon and AS Monaco are his top suitors and are waiting to make a move.

Inter Milan prepare an oven fresh £65 million bid for Romelu Lukaku

Juventus want him, Inter Milan want him but Manchester United don’t want him. Something’s certainly wrong somewhere in the world but something has definitely gone wrong at Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri may have spent smartly but they were also the top dogs in the race before Juventus’ dangled the prospect of signing La Joya in front of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Now Inter are back with their tail between their legs with a reinforced offer of £65 million the Daily Mail reports.

Will that be enough to convince Manchester United to sell? Only time will tell.
