BWF Para Badminton Championship: India assured of at least two all Indian finals

In the ongoing BWF Para Badminton Championship happening in Basel, Switzerland, India is assured of 12 medals out of which two will definitely be gold. The World No.1 Pramod Bhagat along with Tarun Dhillon, Manoj Savarkar, Sukant Kadam and Krishna Nagar are all into single semi-final lineup.

India is winning a number of medals from the ongoing BWF Para Badminton Championship as the Indian Contingent is doing brilliantly at the tournament. There will be two all Indian finals, first one is going to Women Singles in SL3 category in which Parul Dalsukhbhai and Manashi Girishchandra are going to compete for the title. Other final is in Men’s Doubles SL3-4 category which will ensure India of two golds. 

World No.1 Pramod Bhagat along with Tarun Bhagat are into the semi-finals. Pramod defeated another India Umesh Kumar 21-16, 21-122 to reach the semifinals. Whereas Tarun defeated Korea’s Kyung Hwan Shin 21-11, 21-12 in SL 4 match.

In the semifinals, the Odisha boy is set to face another India Manoj Savarkar former Silver Medalist in by this it is certain that one Indian will be in the finals.

Sukant Kadam who is into the finals in Men’s single SL4 had defeated another Indian Suhas Yathiraj in the semifinals by 21-18,21-19 to reach there. Now he is going to face Lucas Majur a French player in the finals.

Krishna Nagar will face British No.1 Jack Shepard in his respective category finals. Krishna has defeated Shepard all the three times they met this year and he would hope to repeat those results.
