The war of words between Indian pro boxer Vijender Singh and his next opponent Andrzej Soldra has begun before their bout, which is scheduled to take place in Bolton on May 13. The Polish fighter has threatened to knockout Vijender, who has won all the five bouts of his professional boxing career.

The Olympics and World Championship medallist defeated Matiouze Royer of France in his fifth bout on April 30, and is going to travel to India in June for his first title fight. But, Andrzej Soldra of Poland is planning to spoil the Indian’s party when he faces Vijender. The middleweight boxer from Nowy Sacz in Southern Poland said that it is inevitable that he will defeat the Indian.

“Friday the 13th is going to be a horror show for India’s golden boy Vijender. It’s about time his lucky streak came to an end and I’m going to be the man who delivers the knockout blow! He’s had it easy up until now, us Polish are a different breed, and he’s going to be in for a shock on Friday.

“I’m on a different level to all of his previous opponents. I have a solid winning record and I’m not familiar with losing. These bums he has been fighting have been falling over but I’m coming to England to fight! When I start landing on him he’s going to be in a whole world of trouble,” said Soldra, reported PTI.

The 30-year-old from Poland has 11 more fights under his belt than Vijender, and an equal number of knockouts. Soldra has 12 wins in his 16 bouts, and is all set to give Vijender a run for his money when the two face each other at Bolton’s Macron Stadium Premier Suite on May 13.
