Deepa Malik became the first Indian female to win a medal at the Paralympics on Monday. This was India's third medal in this Paralympics games, and the celebrities on Twitter were quick in reacting to the inspirational performance of Deepa Malik.

India's Deepa Malik won the silver medal for India on Monday in the women's shot put F-53 in Paralympics in Rio. The 45-year old threw a distance of 4.61m, to secure the third medal for India in the Paralympics after Mariyappan Thangavelu and Varun Singh Bhati won medals in high jump.
