Indian Golf Round-up | Ajeetesh Sandhu finishes T-51 at China Open golf

Ajeetesh Sandhu was the best Indian golfer at the China Open on Sunday as he finished T-51 in the competition yesterday. Among other Indian golfers, Khalin Joshi (70) and SSP Chawrasia (74) finished T-64 and T-65 respectively in the same competition which was played in China last week.

After falling 12 places on Sunday, Ajeetesh Sandhu still managed to be the best among the Indian golfers at the recently-concluded China Open. He finished at T-51 on the final day of the tournament after closing the week with 73. The Indian golfer had shot 67-69 in his middle rounds and ended the event with a total of five-under 283. Finland's Mikko Korhonen got the better of Benjamin Herbert from France in a play-off to win the title. Sandhu finished 15 shots behind the winner at the event.

Among other Indians in the competition, Khalin Joshi (70) finished T-64th at one-under 287 while on the other hand, SSP Chawrasia (74) ended at T-65th with an even-par 288.

In LPGA Mediheal Championship, India’s female golfer Aditi Ashok moved up to T-46 and is now three-over 219. Aditi is 13 shots behind the leader Sei Young Kim at the event being held in the USA.

On the other hand, Aman Raj was the only Indian to make the cut at the Maekyung Open in Korea. However, the Indian finished the tournament at Tied-57 with a 77 in his final round.
