India’s table tennis coach Massimo Costantini has stated that all the players are in good shape and he would be expecting India to return with at least four medals in table tennis in the upcoming CWG. The nine-member table tennis contingent left for the Games which will be held in Gold Coast.

The Indian table tennis had a pretty poor outing in their last Commonwealth Games campaign in Glasgow in 2014. “I am expecting the teams to win at least four medals. All players are in good shape which is an indication of the level of preparation. I am positive and so are the team members,” coach Massimo Costantini was quoted saying by TOI.

The Indian team would be led by triple-gold medallist Sharath Kamal. The nine-member team left for the upcoming Commonwealth Games which will be held in Gold Coast. In addition to the nine players, the men’s and women’s coach along with a couple of support staff members have left for Gold Coast.
