Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza will pair up against Leander Paes and Martina Navratilova in the 2015 Tennis Masters 2015 exhibition mixed doubles starting in Kolkata on November 25. Martina Hingis was the original choice as Paes’ partner, but the Swiss ace had prior commitments.

The 59-year-old Navratilova has won a total of 49 Grand Slam titles, including 18 singles. Organised by the Jaidip Mukerjea Tennis Academy, the exhibition series will subsequently move to Hyderabad and Delhi.

The turf for the series will be flown in from Dubai. The Kolkata match is a prelude to the second edition of the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), which kicks off in Japan on December 2.

“This is the start of something very big. And I hope we will be able to get the IPTL to Kolkata next year," tournament director Sharmin Mukherjea said.
