The first week of the 2017 Wimbledon concluded yesterday, but it gave the tennis fanatics some memorable moments to cherish. Federer and Djokovic were at it once again while the ever entertaining Gael Monfils produced a few moments of magic to light up the tournament and enthrall the audience.

The first week of Wimbledon ended with all the favourites, with the except for Stan Wawrinka, cruising into the last 16 of the Grand Slam event. The tournament started with back to back players being injured while some failed to keep their emotions in check and were fined for their unsportsmanlike conduct.
