The fifth day of the ongoing French Open has seen some big names like Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka grab the attention. However, we have also seen a major upset as Thomas Berdych crashed out from the second grand slam of the season after losing to 21-year-old Russian Karen Khachanov.

3. Dolgopolov shows his style

Ukraine star Alexandr Dolgopolov is always known for his funky and unorthodox style of tennis and he showed his style once again against World No.3 Stan Wawrinka at the Roland Garros. He came up with an angled chip which stayed low and followed that by a crosscourt forehand on the run to catch Wawrinka off guard and win the point. All the spectators and even Dolgopolov himself seemed to have enjoyed it. Although Dolgopolov, a former top-20 player, gave the Swiss a run for his money, Wawrinka registered 6-4, 7-6 (7/5), 7-5 win to set up a third-round clash with Italian star Fabio Fognini.

2. Young Karen stuns Tomas Berdych

21-year-old Karen Khachanov, thanks to an outstanding performance, produced a major upset to knock Czech’s Tomas Berdych out in straight sets and after watching the shots, you can understand why. When Berdych thought that he had won the point after his backhand smash off Khachanov's forehand lob, Khachanov produced a stunning backhand pass on the run to win the point. With the help of these kinds of shots, unseeded Karen beats Berdych, a Wimbledon finalist back in 2010 and a Roland Garros semi-finalist in the same year, 7-5, 6-4, 6-4.

1. Murray shows Klizan who's the boss

World No.1 Andy Murray might have struggled yesterday but we saw glimpses of what he is actually capable of. During the second match of the French Open, Martin Klizan pounced on Murray's drop shot and came up with a low, powerful crosscourt backhand, but the Briton showed extraordinary hand skills to dig out a forehand volley, on the match point. Murray reached third round after thrashing out Klizan by 6-7(3/7), 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (7/3).
