ATP Finals had surely saved their best for the last match. Both Dimitrov and Goffin had produced some unbelievable displays to reach there and their duel was highly anticipated. They didn't disappoint either and the whole game could be summed up in this rally that had six breath-taking exchanges.

While Dimitrov came into the final after dropping just two sets in four matches, Goffin had beaten both Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer on his way to the last match of the tournament. It was a tough fixture between two incredible players. While it was Dimitrov, who looked like the heavy favourite coming into the match, Goffin didn’t want to miss any chance to prove his mettle.

After the first two sets were shared by them, the third and penultimate set produced the moment of the match. Dimitrov was leading 5-2 with Goffin serving. After he retrieved Goffin's serve, the Belgian returned with an inside-out forehand. Dimitrov tackled it with a soft backhand, slicing it back to his opponnent's forehand, which brings the Belgian towards the net. Dimitrov follows it with a slice that stays low, in reply to which Goffin hits a backhand drop volley.

With both the players equally determined, the point had to go to the one who wanted it more. And it was the Bulgarian who showed the extra edge to retrieve the ball and then lob it over Goffin's head. It had pretty much given him the victory. Goffin had to run back to the end of the court and hit a tweener to deal with it, but it falls kindly to Dimitrov right where he wanted. Dimitrov successfully finishes it with a spectacular smash.

The unbelievable rally had kept the crowd at the edge of their seats and they broke into a loud cheer when Dimitrov prevailed at the end.
