Fergana Challenger | Saketh Myneni makes it to quarter-finals of the Men’s singles

Indian tennis ace Saketh Myneni made his way to the quarter-finals of the Men’s singles event after beating higher ranked Dominican Roberto Cid 6-0, 6-4 in the fourth round at the Fergana Challenger. Myneni also reached the semi-finals in the Men’s doubles event with partner Prashanth V.

Indian Tennis player Saketh Myneni, who won 9 ITF and 2 ATP Challenger singles titles over the course of his career made his way to the quarter-finals in the Men’s singles event at the ongoing Fergana Challenger in Uzbekistan.

Saketh beat Dominican Roberto Cid by 6-0, 6-4 in the fourth round of the tournament in Uzbekistan to seal a spot in the semi-final. Saketh was the lower ranked of the two players but still managed to comfortably defeat his South American opponent.

The Indian ace also secured a semi-final berth in the Men’s doubles event with partner Prashanth V. The Indian pair beat Nikola Milojevic and Aldin Setkic by a scoreline of 6-1, 6-3 to seal a semi-final spot. Myneni and Prashanth looked in total control of the game as they sealed the match in a comfortable manner in 50 minutes.
