Indian Tennis Round up | Manish Sureshkumar and Nitin Kumar Sinha establish all Indian semi final in Sri Lanka

Emerging young talents Manish Sureshkumar and Nitin Kumar Sinha have managed to establish an all Indian semi-final at the ITF Sri Lanka F3 Futures on Thursday in Sri Lanka. while Manish defeated Michal Dembek, Nitin managed to beat compatriot Abhinav Sanjeev Shanmugham in his quarter-final game.

Manish Sureshkumar had a tricky task at hand in his semi-final clash with Dembek, but the Polish player failed to stand up to the occasion conceding a straight set 6-3, 6-3 defeat. On the other hand, Nitin Kumar Sinha overthrew Abhinav Sanjeev Shanmugham in a similar straightforward manner as he won 6-4, 6-4.

Niki Kaliyanda Poonacha, however, faced disappointment as she was humbled by sixth seed Vladyslav Orlov by 4-6, 3-6. In the Guimaraes Ladies Open, Zeel Desai entered the quarter-finals by defeating Sweden's Linnea Malmqvist by 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, although her teammate Mihika Yadav was subdued by Japan's Yuriko Lily Miyazaki by 3-6, 6-3, 3-6.

Yet another Indian saw his campaign ending at the ITF futures in Spain, as Adil Kalyanpur went down 5-7, 5-7 to Kazakhstan’s Denis Yevseyev in his second round match.
