Mehuli Ghosh wins the 10M Air rifle T3 trial in Women's category

Mehuli Ghosh of West Bengal defeated Tilottama Sen of Karnataka to win the women's race with a score line of 16-8 in her favor. Mehuli placed sixth in the first qualification round of the national selection trials on Friday, with a score of 629.1 in the 10m air rifle T3 (third trial).

In the gold medal match, Mehuli Ghosh of West Bengal won 16-8 against Tilottama Sen of Karnataka to win the women's race. Elavenil Valarivan of Gujarat won bronze after dominating the qualification round with a score of 632.

Mehuli qualified sixth in the first qualification round with a score of 629.1, while Tilottama earned seventh with the same score but with lower inner 10s on competition day eight.

Mehuli won the top eight final stage with a 261.9, Tilottoma came in second with a 261.6, and Elavenil took bronze with a 260.3. Mehuli's experience then carried her to victory in the gold medal match.

Zeena Khitta of Himachal Pradesh won the junior women's 10m air rifle T3 competition by a score of 17-11 over Ramita of Haryana. In the youth division, Haryana's Nancy won the gold medal match 16-4 over Maharashtra's Isha Anil Taksale.
