Onto #IndiaKaGame Hockey

2 mins! That was what separated India from an upset victory against World Champions Australia in the 1 of the 3 Test series. Drag flicker Raghunath scored both of India’s goals from the 3 penalty corners that he got. Final Score: 2-2

Stat of the day: 1,63,122, the population of Rajnandgaon (And I struggled to get the spelling right!), which is 1/10the population of Chandni Chowk! A brilliant decision by Hockey India to host the game there. The packed and passionate crowd played no small part in India's great show!

Also, India swept aside Oman, 9-0, to secure a place in the semi-finals of Asia Hockey Juniors Cup.

Hockey once again #MakingIndiaProud.

Delhi finally showed their attacking prowess, putting 3 goals past Pune, to lift themselves to the top of the points table with 18 points, level with Goa. Pune’s marquee striker Adrian Mutu provided a late consolation goal for the visitors.

Tennis

Bopanna/Mergea lost to the Italian pair of Fognini/Bolelli 6-4, 1-6, 10-5 in a dead rubber. The Indo-Romanian pair have already qualified for the SFs of ATP World Tour Finals.
