Cricket

Star of the day: RCB & UP youngster Sarfaraz Khan scored a brisk 59* (27) to help India U-19 beat Bangladesh U-19 with 36 overs to spare. The bowlers set up the day for India by skittling out Bangladesh for a paltry 116 in 36.5 overs.

Another hat-trick! Reinaldo scored 3 easy goals to ensure an emphatic 5-1 win for FC Goa. Goa became the third team to book their place in the semis, after Atletico de Kolkata and Delhi Dynamos.

Stat of the day: 8 hat-tricks already scored in ISL this season compared to 1 scored in ISL 2014!

Kerala now have no chance to reach semis and look most likely to finish last. A disappointing campaign for last season’s finalists; one that saw coach Peter Taylor fired and ended with fans protesting the lack of local talent in the squad.

Badminton (In case you missed!)

Defending champion P.V Sindhu won the Macau Open Grand Prix Gold beating Minatsu Mitani 21-9, 8-9. This was her third consecutive Macau Open title win and if she doesn’t win at the Indonesian Grand Prix this week, this will be the third year in a row where Macau will be the only title of the season for Sindhu.

Tennis

Nagpur Orangers made two wins in two as they beat hosts Hyderabad Aces 22-20 in CTL 2015
