Indian teenage golfer Aditi Ashok has become the first Indian woman to clinch a European Tour title by winning the Women's Indian Open at the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurgaon. Aditi finished the final day with a score of 3 under par to claim the title and write her name in the history books.

Aditi, who started the day with a two-stroke lead, shot a level par 72 in the final round to take her tally to 3 under 213 in the final round to edge out  American Brittany Lincicome and Spaniard Belen Mozo by a single point.

Aditi carded birdies on the par 4 2nd and 10th holes, and bogeys on the 7th, 13th and 17th in the final round.
