Monte Carlo Masters | Rohan Bopanna and Pablo Cuevas through to men's doubles final

Bopanna and Cuevas won 6-4, 6-3 in just over an hour and will face seventh-seeded Spanish pairing of Feliciano Lopez and Marc Lopez for the title, who beat Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut  6-1, 7-6 (4) of France in the other semi-final.

Bopanna and Cuevas saved all three break points they faced in the first set before converting one of the two break chances they had, and that sole break made the difference as the Indo-Uruguayan pair won the set by claiming two more points (29), overall, than their opponents to take the first set.

In the second set, Bopanna and Cuevas both saved break points on their serve before converting two of the three chances they had to break their opponents, the last of which was on match point.

The Monte Carlo final will be the first of the season for Bopanna and Cuevas as a pair and Bopanna's third overall. He won the Chennai Open in January in the company of Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and finished as runner-up in Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships where he partnered with Marcin Matkowski of Poland.
