The draws for Wimbledon 2017 has been revealed and defending men’s champion Andy Murray has been drawn in the same half as Rafael Nadal. Meanwhile, top-seed Angelique Kerber will play against a qualifier in her opener and in the absence of Serena Williams, the single's event is set for a new winner.

Defending men’s champion Andy Murray has been drawn in the same half as two-time champion Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka, who depending on their respective performances in the tournament, can dislodge the Brit from his World No.1 rank. Nadal opens his campaign against John Millman in the first round on his first appearance at Wimbledon since 2015.

While Murray will kick off his title defence against a qualifier, tournament favourite, Roger Federer will start his quest for an 8th Wimbledon title against Alexandr Dolgopolov. Novak Djokovic, on the other hand, will start his bid to re-find his old form in his game against Martin Klizan of Slovakia.

French Open semi-finalist Dominic Thiem of Austria will look to recover from a shock loss in the pre-quarters of the Antalya Open to India’s Ramkumar Ramanathan when he takes on Canada’s Vasek Pospisil in the first round of Wimbledon.

In the women’s single’s section, former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka of Belarus faces American Cici Bellis in her Wimbledon opener, while, Agnieszka Radwańska of Poland will face Serbian Jelena Jankovic in her first-round match. In the absence of her younger sister Serena, Venus Williams will open her 20th Wimbledon campaign against Belgium's Elise Mertens.

Finally, French Open pre-quarter-finalist Carla Suárez Navarro of Spain will take on Canadian Eugenie Bouchard in her first round encounter.
