Chain Singh bags gold in 3-position rifle event in KSS Memorial Shooting Championship

Chain Singh has claimed victory in the 3-position rifle event in the KSS Memorial Shooting Championship, defeating Gagan Narang to grab the individual gold medal. Along with the gold in 3-position riflemen, he has also won the team gold in association with Surendra Singh and Satyendra Singh.

With a score of 452.6, Chain Singh displayed his efficiency as a player in the KSS Memorial Shooting Championship, defeating 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Gagan Narang to claim the gold in the 3-position rifle event at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range on Saturday. Singh also managed to acquire the team gold with Surendra Singh and Satyendra Singh with a total score of 3473.

With a score of 450.2, Gagan Narang acquired silver for himself and Surendra Singh Rathore bagged a bronze medal with a score of 438.3. In the men's team event, Aishwarya Singh, Navdeep Rathore, and Harshit Binjwa claimed silver with a cumulative score of 3439 followed by G. Pursothaman, Rahul Poonia and Nigma Parida who won a bronze medal with a score of 3405.

In the 3-position rifle junior men, Abhay Kumar Goel registered a win with a score of 442.7. In the women's events, Gayathri N won gold in the 3-position rifle woman whereas the team title was claimed by Lajja Gauswami, Hema KC, and Mistry Gunjan with a total score of 3419. In the junior women category, Varashaa of Tamil Nadu claimed the gold medal with a score of 441.1.
