As per the schedule, the national trials would be held immediately held after Kumar Surendra Singh Shooting Championship at the same venue. Hence, after the men’s air rifle and mixed air rifle event at the 10-metre range, the women’s air rifle event would be held that would further be followed by men’s air pistol.

Similarly, the 25-metre range would be having standard pistol, centre fire pistol, women’s sports pistol and men’s rapid fire pistol events one after the other in the order. In the 50-metre range, the women’s rifle 3-position would be followed by men’s free pistol, men’s rifle 3-position, and finally men’s prone and women’s prone events would conclude it.

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has announced a list of 107 shooters (66 men and 41 women) to be present in the national coaching camp at the same venue from June 5 to 15.

India’s shooting contingent has had a good run in the World Cups so far, and they would want to continue it in the last World Cup of the year in rifle and pistol to be held in Rio de Janeiro in August end. The last few Olympic quotas will be given at the Asian Championship, Doha scheduled in November.
